Microsoft now apologize for saying that Corel file formats were insecure ! "Microsoft Corp. apologized yesterday for saying its file format posed a security risk and issued new tools to let users of Office 2003 SP3 unblock a host of barred file types."

Some older file formats (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Corel Draw) aren't supported anymore after installing Windows Office service pack 3. Microsoft apparently did this because those older file formats are insecure.
